Micha Van den Abeele is co-head of the Corporate department and specializes in corporate law, both transactions (national and international mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity, and venture capital transactions) and litigation (dispute resolution, directors' liability, etc.).
Micha has extensive experience in corporate real estate, setting up partnerships and advising on acquisition and sale transactions for project developers, contractors, architects and investors (funds, family offices and other major players active in the real estate market). Micha and her team support national and international companies in their legal obligations, ranging from drafting complex contracts to advising boards of directors on corporate governance and general corporate law.
Recent transactions include project acquisitions and divestments for (listed) real estate investment funds, private equity firms, and family offices. Micha also has extensive experience in corporate law proceedings, including shareholder disputes, exit procedures, and amicable settlements.
Micha is fluent in Dutch and English, is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA) and a founding member of The Nine in Brussels.
